recorder to its innovative digital product
platform. The Philips DESA produces
an amazing 120-240 images per second,
with small file sizes ranging from 3-6
KB per image. DESA provides you with
a real digital solution and added space-saving
benefits when you replace your current
multiplexers and VCRs. The DESA is a
complete digital recording system that
operates within a secure Windows 2000
environment. Featuring 16 alarm inputs
and 16 outputs, the DESA integrates
with your building's existing subsystems
and provides remote viewing, searching,
playback capabilities, and system control
over a standard network connection.
The
DESA system accommodates a variety of
security applications and can be easily
configured to meet your specific needs.
A selectable camera frame rate for each
camera allows you to record more images
per second from higher a priority camera.
Authorized users can easily access remote
locations for live monitoring, reviewing
recorded events, or system programming,
allowing management of remote facilities
from a central security station. DESA
provides remote event notification by
sending an e-mail message to a remote
site when an alarm is triggered.
